Metropolitan Districts are governmental entities and political subdivisions of the State of Colorado, designed to serve as perpetual quasi-municipal corporations, each operating with an elected five-person Board of Directors. The primary purpose of the Districts is to finance public infrastructure required by the development and to provide an ongoing governmental structure for the operation and maintenance of district improvements and facilities. The District also performs Architectural Review and Covenant Control functions, in the place of a traditional HOA.
Please feel free to look around and if you have questions, please contact the District Manager, Danaly Howe.
The District is responsible to clear snow from sidewalks adjacent to open space areas. Homeowners are responsible for the sidewalk abutting their property. Please click here to read the Town of Timnath’s snow removal policy for street plowing. Please click here for a map of the Kitchel Lake phases.
Trash service:
Ram Waste has been chosen as the preferred trash provider for Kitchel Lake. They offer a discounted rate to Kitchel Lake residents. You may contact Ram at (970) 226-3396 to set up service. Trash day is on Tuesday, and recycling is every other week on "A" weeks, per Ram's recycling calendar.
